I custom made the tire carrier with an offset to the drivers side and made the license mounting bracket out of a 2nd generation 4Runner plate bracket. The original build was a 96' Tacoma I built back in 05'. In 2010 I disassembled the Tacoma, removing roof tent, Thule bars, front suspension, wheel, interior storage boxes and mods, engine mods as well as the tire carrier and designed this truck with the parts that would transfer. The tire carrier itself was inspired by a 1st gen 4Runner from Marlin Crawler that I spotted on the trails out in Moab about ten years ago. Its a great rig that was purpose built to function at top performance on and off road.
