• No welding or drilling required! These bumpers mount directly to your frame using existing holes. Proprietary bumper mounting system is plasma cut for precise fitment. 96-98 4Runners use 6 bolts, 99-02 4Runners use 10 bolts.
• Maximum approach angles.
• These bumpers are made of 1/4" plate and 1 3/4" x .120" HREW tubing and are incredibly strong. DOM is available on a build-to-order basis if extra strength is required.
  
• Optional winch plate mounting holes are drilled for most 5000-9500 model low-profile winches. If using a winch with an integrated solenoid, such as the Warn 9500, trimming of the front plastic grill will be necessary. Remote solenoids are normally located in engine compartment but can also be mounted to the bumper near the winch. A Hause-type fairlead is recommended when using a winch but some roller fairleads will fit.
• Shipped welded, unpainted, and lightly oiled, unless specified.  Optional grill guard is shipped separately to reduce shipping costs.

Options:

• DOM is available on a build-to-order basis. This option is recommended if you intend to make a lot of contact with rocks or you wish to have extra strength.  DOM vs HREW.
  
• Grill Guard is available on request and is usually shipped unattached to reduce shipping costs. The grill guard is designed to match the contours of the plastic grill. Two types are available; standard (shown in product photos) and prerunner (shown in options photos, below.)
  
• Light tabs (up to 3) are mounted on main tube underneath the grill guard.  Extra light tabs can be purchased separately in our Lighting Category.
  
• 1/2" wide d-ring shackle mounts
  
• Aluminum or steel skid plate.  Note: skid plate is designed according to the options you select. For example, if you order your bumper without a winch plate, there will not be a cable slot or mounting holes for a fairlead.
• Winch and fairlead mounts
• Hitch receiver for mounting recovery strap or receiver-mounted winch.
• Body lift kit includes bolt on side brackets and weld on front plates.  Note that old front mounting plates may need to be modified or removed before new mounting are welded onto end of frame. Available for 1" or 2" body lifts.
• Weld-on Mounting Brackets include two 1/4" steel brackets that weld on to the frame ends.  On 96-98 models, the frame end has only one bolt hole.  Our weld-on kit has the same bolt pattern as 99-02 years (3 bolts per side).  This option is recommended for anyone doing a lot of heavy winching.
